Resilient Minds Counseling is conducting intakes for grieving clients who reside in the state of Colorado & Texas. At this time Resilient Minds Counseling does not offer therapy to any client residing out of Colorado & Texas.

CAN CHILDREN AND ADOLESENTS PARTICIPATE IN TELEHEALTH?

Absolutely! Resilient Minds Counseling continues to open and close sessions in the same fashion as being in the office. Sessions continue to use bibliotherapy and play therapy approaches!

Telehealth benefits include:  sense of autonomy, comfort in a location of your choice,  flexible scheduling, and ease into mindful practices post therapeutic session.

EMDR sessions take place on the platform Bilateral Stimulation. io. This website allows clients the opportunity to experience eye movements, tactile movement, and audio tones.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Resilient Minds Counseling is not in-network with insurance companies and/or Medicare or Medicaid.

Resilient Minds Counseling is fee for service, and is always happy to provide clients with a monthly statement if they would like to try and obtain reimbursement. Each company is different, and the client is responsible for contacting their insurance company.

Resilient Minds Counseling, can not support clients who have Medicaid as their insurance. This includes, if someone offers to pay for services, as it is considered fraud.

WHAT ABOUT SCHOOL?

Resilient Minds Counseling is a fully licensed practice and can provide your child/teen with a doctor's note regarding their appointment.

Resilient Minds Counseling recognizes there are limited after-school & work hours. Daytime hours support a more regulated nervous system, ultimately increasing the window of tolerance to be able to navigate life's stresses.  When therapy can be experienced in the client's most regulated state, clients are more likely to practice tools taught and experienced in session, leading to a reduction in long term therapy.
