CAN CHILDREN AND ADOLESENTS PARTICIPATE IN TELEHEALTH?

Absolutely! Resilient Minds Counseling continues to open and close sessions in the same fashion as being in the office. Sessions continue to use bibliotherapy, and play therapy approaches!

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Resilient Minds Counseling is not in-network with insurance companies and/or Medicare or Medicaid.

Resilient Minds Counseling is fee for service, and is always happy to provide clients with a monthly statement if they would like to try and obtain reimbursement. Each company is different, and the client is responsible for contacting their insurance company.

HOW CAN THERAPY SUPPORT MYSELF, MY CHILD OR MY FAMILY DURING THIS TIME?

Resilient Minds Counseling specializes in grief and trauma. Dr. Alan Wolfelt describes grief as our thoughts and feelings when attachments are threatened or harmed. Together exploring the impact of grief can reduce anxiety, allowing clients to focus on what they can control.

Resilient Minds Counseling recognizes it is often preferred to have later appointments. During daytime appointments, clients' have reported feeling more regulated, which helps increase the effectiveness of their counseling experience.
